Potable Water

Clean water is the most important thing in our live yet our people miss that. Women, children and elderly people are among the most vulnerable in Raaso community.

Despite, two wells were dug in recently; the city did not get opportunity to overcome the difficulty of getting clean water. Both wells were announced that they are not suitable to drink. One of them people use other purpose such building the houses, whereas the other was completely sealed.

That makes the only option is using Haqiq Valley water, the water are not clean because the wells are open to everything.

 

When it is ‘Gu’ season they dig holes which they call ‘laaso’ in the middle of the valley and that is how they obtain their drinking water.  Sometimes you see both animal and people using same water point.
